Day 1
Upon reaching Ho Chi Minh, complete the immigration and visa on arrival process at the airport. Meet our driver at the airport and board your transfers to reach the pre-booked hotel.
No early check in and you can keep luggages in hotel receiptionist
This tour, perfect for history and war buffs, will take you back to wartime where you can explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels, OPTIONAL: Try shooting AK47, M16, M60, M30. Surcharge: 2usd x 10 bullets/ one set and even sample food eaten by Vietnamese soldiers during the war.
We depart at 07:50-08:15 am pick up at your hotel to Cu Chi Tunnel for 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnel system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigners.
The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a network of underground tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities.
Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh city, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”

Day 2
07:30 am: Tour guide picks up your Hotel. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.
09:00 am Visit Mekong Restop, free time or drinking coffee – Excluded
10:00 am Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda.
10:30 am arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman's port; stilt houses (half on land, half on water).
From there, we’ll take you to a bee shop where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyment. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
Continue on a horse cart around the village, finishing at the local Home.
Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups (if you take a group tour) and get on small row boats. During this 10-15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!
When you feel it's enough for serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards (seasonable orchards). After that, we cruise to a village where the sweet smell of coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
Now let's have lunch at the restaurant. After relaxing or cycling around the village.
15:30 pm get on small row boats from a restaurant and meet a motorized boat.
As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and Meet the bus and return to HCM City
6pm You will be dropped off at hotel
